Success, and Failing in couponing

I want to thank you for checking out  my blog. I hope tips about my success and failure will help you or maybe even prevent you from making a mistake yourself.

 My first bad experience was the first week I started. I was so ready to get my first free toothbrush  and floss at CVS. I did all my research and planning. In the end I was confident and excited.
  I got 4 Reach toothbrush and 4 Reach floss all with  a coupon that will come down to zero because I had 8/$1.00 coupons.( 6 printed coupons and 2 coupons that I clipped from the Sunday paper.) When I got to the counter the ending balance was going to be $8.00 because they were on sale for $1.00 each. After the sales associate scanned everything Checked my balance, gave her my member card and handed my coupons. She checked all of it and said "I cant scan all of this".
So, I asked why is that?!?!?! She said.... Because you're going to get everything for free. I told her "Well,  that's the point of my coupons! I don't see why you have a problem with that because they're all manufacturers coupons. The manufacturer is going to pay the store!!!
 But she went on and insisted that it can't be done. So, she called the manager. By that time there was a long line behind me and I  was aggravated. The manager came and asked what the problem is and in the end she told me that they didn't accept "PRINTED COUPONS". After that I didn't argue with them. I bought my 2 floss that were free.(I only paid for tax. even when an item is absolutely free you still have pay for tax)
 I went home determined to find out if they really didn't accept printed coupons. I went online and researched.I found their "Coupon Policy" and printed it out. It clearly says there that they ACCEPT PRINTED COUPONS from the manufacturer.

It would've really saved me alot of time and effort if I have printed out all the stores "COUPON POLICY".  You can find a coupon policy for every store online or ask for a coupon policy in stores and ask them for a copy. If i had my policy I wouldn't have to argue with the sales associate or the manager. But, I guess we learn best from our mistakes.....

 I know this tip will be useful and handy when you start shopping. Always stay calm and confident because there is no arguments when you have your coupon policy in hand...

 2.GET OR CLIP COUPONS WHEN THE SUNDAY PAPER ARRIVES, OR START NOW BY GOING TO SMARTSOURCE.COM, REDPLUM.COM, COUPONS.COM AND PRINT OUT YOUR COUPONS.
3. THEN GRAB ALL THE ADS YOU CAN GET. START HIGHLIGHTING THE GOOD DEALS YOU CAN FIND.

Box Of Chocolates

Life is such a mystery. You never know what your gonna get, just like a box of chocolate. It doesn't necessarily mean that everything you're going to get is good according to your taste.

 Just like "a BOX OF CHOCOLATES" life comes to us as a surprise most of the time. We cannot control  what happens in life such as disasters that occur but it truly reminds us to think about what is truly valuable in life.

I found that even in my own life's disaster that my priceless things are the only best thing I had and could ever have. It's the only thing that could make you smile and laugh even when you think it's not possible.
So let's live like there's no tomorrow.
Learn to LIVE and embrace our mistakes, LAUGH everyday of your life, and most of all continue to LOVE like you've never loved before.

Last night I was looking for inspiration and stumbled upon a quote about attitude. I usually listen to music, read the Bible, Daily Bread, or look for quotes and poems to encourage me or inspire me. It really never occured to me that how we percieve life and our attitude about life really depends on how well we will handle ourself in lifes most difficult times. After all no one ever said that life was easy, but no one also said that life is tough.

Recently I've been down in the dumps, most likely because my hormones are kicking in but it's also because it seems like life isn't being fair and  problems are popping left and right, and there is just no way out. But I knew that feeling sorry for myself and mopping around is not going to help me much. I had the inspiration to share my thoughts and feelings hoping that  it would help, encourage and inspire someone and vise versa.

Somehow God directed me in a path of blogging to help someone that might be in the same situation, or problems that I'm  facing. Maybe help someone just by letting them know that they're not alone. and even if your not facing difficulties right now it really doesn't matter because sooner or later problems start creeping in and you're going to need motivation. Most of the time the people that we expect to be there are the ones that pull us down the most cause in the end it really is up to me or to you to pull yourself back up and  it will depend on the" attitude".

So no matter how bad life is right now....we gotta keep going and face it with an attitude!!!

"Positive Attitude" is such a powerful thing in life. So lets start practicing it!!!!
